Christina Logan

Christina Logan, MS, CCC-SLP

Christina became interested in the field of speech-language pathology after her father experienced a stroke and aphasia (a language disorder which can affect both receptive and expressive communication).  She attended the University of Arizona and then Portland State University, receiving a Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders.

Although she treats within her full scope of practice, her career has included specialized focus on patients who have had head injury and stroke leading to aphasia, those who need cognitive treatment, those who have Parkinson’s and other neurological disorders, swallowing complications, and vocal disorders. She is amazingly flexible in her treatment approach, adopting the style that each individual client best responds to. Her personal life experiences in overcoming challenges and difficulties has served to make her an understanding, compassionate, practical, and wise helper to those she treats.

Fun fact: Outside of therapy, Christina loves to provide yoga instruction.
